The current farmhouse, a Grade II listed former manor house, was built around 1430 when Henry VI the 'child king, ' was on the throne in England. Apart from the Victorian wing and recent necessary renovations, the house has been this way since the late 17th century. It retains many original features, including wide Tudor doorways and large walk-in fireplaces.
A working organic farm, Huntstile is magical: a beautiful place set in the ancient hills of the Quantocks, a unique way to celebrate your wedding - perfect for that vintage wedding feel, we're a relaxed and friendly venue giving a professional service, serving outstanding delicious food and providing a range of accommodation options for your wedding party.
We're not just about weddings at Huntstile Farm! Whatever your occasion - whether you're celebrating a special birthday, a milestone anniversary or a family reunion, Hunstile can provide the perfect backdrop. We can take care of everything, from food to entertainment. Huntstile is the perfect backdrop for Corporate days and group meetings as well as working breakfasts and lunches.
Huntstile has 9 delightful and individually decorated Bed & Breakfast rooms all with newly fitted en-suite shower or bathrooms, tea and coffee making facilities and flatscreen TVs with DVD players. Our comfortable beds all have snuggly duvets and pillows, cotton sheets and pretty soft furnishings, and you will find a hospitalities tray in your room.
We have a pretty orchard and adjacent field that is perfect for camping. You can enjoy fantastic views across the countryside & many fine farm walks, with public footpaths from the farm gate. There's lots of wildlife including badgers, rabbits and foxes, butterflies and birds - buzzards and skylarks and fields of wheat through which to roam.

Attended an Irish/Welsh family wedding there. The setting for the ceremony on the nearby hilltop is magnificent. The weather was perfect displaying the countryside in all it's glory. The huge sausage rolls are to die for, having missed breakfast, I had 3. Great craic was had at the meal and partying continued till late facilitated by the wonderful staff.

Unmatched hospitality - Highly recommend! Our arrival to Hunstile was not the most conventional; we had just been involved in a car collision on route to Cornwall from Sussex, when we were thrown off track… It was early in the evening and we’d tried to book into dozens of places locally, until I stumbled across Hunstile Farm. I called up, and thankfully the owners managed to squeeze us in for the night. We arrived and it was peaceful and the sun was just setting, the owners got us settled in and made sure that we were set for the evening by providing us takeaway information - we were a little

On arrival we loved the location and the very warm welcome from our hosts. Unfortunately, the tranquility was shattered by a pack of feral kids running wild and kicking footballs at our tent. For the record: we have children (so not child haters!!) and there are vast areas of open space for children to run and play, let off steam and enjoy their summer holidays! Such a shame that we didn’t get to enjoy ours :(

Fabulous place!
I booked 2 nights in the summer house. Was apprehensive when we had a freak May storm blow in on the same day that we arrived, but it was super cosy, warm and dry. All the facilities of staying in a hotel room- ensuite bathroom with shower, towels, kettle, fridge, TV (yay! We got to watch the Eurovision 😆) even including some toiletries, crockery and utensils.
The farm itself is beautiful and vast. Fantastic food from the cafe/shop, only wish I didn't have to leave before the Sunday lunch!
Friendly staff and lovely relaxing atmosphere, highly recommend x
