Set by the seafront in Ryde, Isle of Wight. Victoria House offers residential elderly care for long-term stays, convalescence care, respite breaks, or holidays. We ensure that our person-centred assessments are all tailored to the whole person and we will look at what people can do, not just what they need assistance with.

The accommodation we provide is designed to make our residents feel comfortable in their surroundings. Our onsite facilities, include a hairdressing salon with a visiting stylist. We provide quality services with highly trained staff in a homely atmosphere. To ensure that a high standard of care is maintained, a quality assurance system is in place.

Victoria House works under a philosophy of care that dictates that all residents shall live in a safe and comfortable environment, where they are treated with respect and equality, irrespective of their needs and backgrounds and in an environment of trust and familiarity. Victoria House is a detached property of an indeterminate age (the earliest record being 1810).
Victoria House is an individual home, registered to care for 22 elderly residents, specialising in; early stages of dementia, palliative care, sensory impairment, Parkinson's, stroke rehabilitation and bespoke services for families in crisis. We understand that choosing the right care home is a big decision and one that should be made with assistance from relatives and loved-ones.
The staff are highly trained to deliver person-centred care services to all residents, be it day care, respite or a permanent placement. If you are looking to take the next step into residential care, please feel free to visit the home at any time. Victoria House are recruiting for a kind, caring passionate individual to look after our residents and be a good team player in our small residential care home. Must have a person centred approach, good communication skills and a positive happy attitude. This is a varied role, part time and might include a mixture of shifts from the odd waking night to day/Late shifts.
