What should I do if I think my dog has been poisoned? If you think your dog has been poisoned by anything, you need to act quickly. Contact us immediately if you think your pet has had access to anything potentially poisonous. It's a good idea to write down the details of anything you think your dog has ingested, when they ate/drank it, how much they have swallowed, and what symptoms they have been experiencing.

We have been aware for a long time about the dangerous effects of passive smoking in humans and the overwhelming evidence led to important law changes in 2005 bringing in the smoking ban, it is also widely accepted, that second hand smoke can cause fatal disease in humans. Bad breath in our pet is not a sign of old age or even normal. The smell is due to a build up of bacteria in the mouth which forms a substance called plaque that sticks to the teeth.
