Beautiful setting, lovely area in the heart of the new forest surrounded by cows, horses and the farms own donkeys.
The cottage itself was fab and gleaming when we arrived. Light too and well ventilated. We stayed in squirrel lodge. A few bits were missing but sorted quickly and we bought some of our own cleaning stuff to keep on top of things during the week. So handy to have a washing machine and small dishwasher and the kitchen was well kitted out.
We've decided to come back to the new forest in the Autumn we loved it so much and found so much to do.
The only thing preventing us coming back

Our second stay at Mill Lane Farm Cottages & again everything was absolutely perfect. The owner Nicky is extremely friendly & helpful and the location is absolutely perfect for a break in the new forest. 5min drive to Lyndhurst, 20mins to Brockenhurst & easy access to the main A31 which will take you further afield. Cottages have everything you need & extremely clean which is reassuring in these uncertain times.
The local pub the Trusty Servant is a 15min bike ride away & is fantastic!!

A nice, peaceful accommodation set in beautiful countryside (Squirrel Lodge). The lodges are a decent size, with plenty of room for a small family. There are decent facilities, with a dishwasher and washing machine in the kitchen, as well as a cot and highchair for younger family members.
The quality was overall good, however there were a couple of things that lowered the quality of our stay. Firstly, the towels provided were tiny. Trying to dry yourself after a shower with towels that are barely bigger than a hand towel is not a pleasant experience. It would be best to bring your own towels if
