My colleagues and I really enjoyed meeting here. We went in April June. The food was excellent. Staff warm and welcoming. The only slight drawback was the limited menu but understandable given just coming out of covid restrictions . The pub garden is lovely and us a nice place to sit and chat over a pint.

I have been twice, as there isn't much else in the area and the first time was more or less OK. The second time though, my word...
Goes to show you that if you have an historic building with a big garden you have a licence to print money. But it would be nice if they put half the effort into looking after their beer that they do into trying to outdo other venues in terms of overzealous Covid rules.
