The Duke's Head celebrates everything that is great about a one hundred and fifty year old country pub. We are a family run, traditional freehouse pub that prides itself on providing locally sourced, home cooked and freshly prepared food. Besides providing a fantastic atmosphere and a warm welcome there is always a lot more to look forward to, from days out to the races to a weekly quiz night, something for everyone.
Our bread is baked daily by the local baker less than half a mile away, our salad and vegetables arrive bright and early every morning direct from market. A family butcher in Cheam provides our meat and Simpsons Fisheries from Coulsdon our fish. Even one of our guest ales is brewed by a Micro Brewer in Dorking.

I been there on 17th September 2021 to celebrate my wedding. I just have an amazing review for them! Since first visit to the restaurant I felt like at home, Wendy (the manager) is very lovely and all the staff there! They help me a lot an make my day more special as I was expecting! The food was amazing on presentation and tasted delicious! They did a special menu for my and my guests! I’m very happy with everything, and for sure I will go back! ♥️

Thankyou for a beautiful family lunch of 15 !
Everything was fabulously tasty and delicious - very generous portions but some still had room for the yummy desserts - Service was super and the staff very attentive. Our sincere thanks to you all for a memorable and beautiful afternoon at The Dukes Head

This was our first time here. A lovely traditional pub with friendly staff. There was a local community feel about the place but we were made to feel very welcome. Service was efficient and not too intrusive. The food we ordered was good qaulity - there is a good selection of traditional pub choices plus some nice specials. A good selection of beers and lagers. Overall we had a really good lunch and will definitely be back

Recently moved in to the area and have found a real gem of of a gastro-pub. Food was fantastic, really tasty, well cooked providing good honest quality pub food. The team serving us couldn't do enough and catered for all our needs. A special mention the 'KT20' IPA - an awesome pub beer that I couldn't stop drinking! Definitely going back - please try this place as you will not be disappointed!!!

Cosy pub in Tadworth, first time visiting and had an amazing time, friend staff, and big outdoor garden. Beers were fairly priced even though just outside London. Food option also available, with separate dining area, a big menu and lots to choose from. I had the mixed grill, it was perfectly cooked and arrived in a timely manner.

Absolutely love this place.
Family run pub, great staff, very friendly and will accommodate pretty much anything you could ask.
Food is amazing! Portion size great!
Atmosphere buzzing!
Lots of seating inside and out. But you have to ring and book. Cant book online.
Carpark available but not too many spaces especially on a Sunday.

Visited for today for the first time in a few months. Food was (as always!) great, with the Sunday nut roast satisfying a fussy vegetarian. Service was friendly and quick. Felt Covid secure with screens between… the tables, staff wearing masks, hand gel freely available and a one way system in place. Thanks for another enjoyable visit.

Went for the launch of the Tispy Toad gin. We were made very welcome. The pub was beautifully decorated for the special launch. The gin was superb, the food was outstanding and as always the staff were very… very attentive. We went back Saturday afternoon to buy a bottle of Tipsy Toad and couldn’t resist in having a couple more with some food. If you love gin then this is not to be missed.
