Services
At The Cock Inn, we are dedicated to sourcing from British farmers and producers to use only sustainable ingredients. We care about being a trusted and professional organisation that is respected by all of our stakeholders. We believe that using fresh ingredients that have travelled little distance from field to kitchen, helps make our food taste great.
For evening orders, we recommend pre-ordering your takeaway earlier in the day, so that we can have your order ready for your preferred collection time later. Our takeaway menu is adapted from our seasonal pub menu, meaning you can enjoy our popular pub classics that we know you all love, in the comfort of your home.

As part of a family that is passionate about the authentic pub experience, at The Cock Inn, we believe that being part of the local community is key to achieving this. That's why we like to support the local community; helping to promote and support local events, fundraising for local charities and building relationships with fellow groups, teams and businesses in the area.
The Children's Trust works with children with brain injury to help them get back into their community, through an incredible out-reach programme and at their Tadworth rehabilitation centre, which includes a day school and residential care for 44 children.
Fundraising is hugely important to enable The Children's Trust to continue to help as many of the 40,000 children a year who suffer brain injuries as they can, with the government helping to fund the day school only. Here are the ways we aim to help this year. We have teamed up with the award-winning Tilford Brewery to create our own recipe ale, Red Mist, and we donate 10p from every pint sold here at The Cock Inn to The Children's Trust.

Can recommend the beef cheek, not so the gamekeepers pie. The cheek was so tender and flavoursome however the pie was just mince with potato and more potato than mince. Staff were brilliant to start with but after mentioning unsatisfactory pie they cooled a bit. The Inn itself is a beautiful countryside dining experience.

I was expecting more than what I got. I had been in several time previous for drinks with friends and had no problems. For a Sunday it was quite, but there seamed to be an abundance of staff, which turned out to not be a good thing as they were all more focused on their own thing rather than serving us. It took over 5 minuets to get a bottle of cider and I could see the bar from my seat. The Food was tasty but after eating the meal I was just left a little disappointed. I had the fish and chips and I felt the size of the fish wasn't representative of the £15 price tag.

Service was good and attentive, however the order came wrong for everyone. Food was not great,be the goats cheese tart hardly tasted of goats cheese, the grilled monkfish was apalling (the silverskin was left on and it was chewy). Chips were good though, and the kids enjoyed their food so not all bad. Atmosphere was also good. Go here, but don't go with high expectations on the food.

Lovely country pub. Beautiful setting. Lovely open log fire. Went there for lunch with a girlfriend. Service and food very good. Would have given 5 stars except for the fact the waitress didn't tell us about the local "Wednesday Gin offer" which we didn't know about until we were leaving, had I have known I would have had that instead of the bombay one I ordered as they didn't have Gordon's.

So disappointed. Have eaten here for years and always loved the food. This time they have started charging extra for roast potatoes, stuffing and vegetables with a roast! We decided to order a burger, which was dreadful with bad chips, and a chicken and ham pie which was very disappointing. The staff, as always were charming, helpful and efficient
