Don't know if it was post new year blues, but we sent the soup back! Had over 3/4 hour wait for our meals, perhaps it was a one off, but disappointing for new customers.

Elaine always gives me a warm welcome, she knows which pint I prefer and delivers it to my table almost before I have had the opportunity to sit down. Great service with a smile.

Always a warm welcome here, and despite the pub being short staffed (probably due to staff catching Covid), we had a really enjoyable meal. The roast beef was wonderful, with a huge Yorkshire pudding (a bigger plate would have been helpful) with my better half choosing a burger. There was also live music whuch our daughter loved. Will definitely return.

Such a lovely experience. Sasha was incredible. Made us feel at home and made it such a pleasurable lunch.
Food was delicious, colouring in for the kids and spacious dining. Definitely coming back

Bit of a disappointment. Having been sat down by the waiter, we were then pushed off by the people who were (apparently) already sitting there! To add insult to injury, even given Covid and the fact the pub had a party of 40+ it took an hour to get starters and my partner never received hers. It felt that we had to fight for attention from the waitress, who gave the impression of being exasperated for asking to be served. The main course then took another 40 minutes. The main course when it arrived was good, however the scotch egg starter was overcooked and that was the weirdest lemon posset I

Quick bite. Ordered the ploughman for two. Remember those days when a ploughman was a meal in itself with apple; couple Of chunky bits of different Cheeses; ham slices; a baguette or bap; relish and salad? No longer! One slice of toast between us; One mini sausage roll to share; a small onion cut in half; two 2/3rd slices of cheddar; a bit of manky ham where the fat and meat fought to be the largest piece; a small piccalilli jar and 6 radishes. Luckily we had a knife to cut the sausage roll as it wasn’t needed for the non-existent butter. All at the princely sum of £17

We travelled long and far to come here and it did not disappoint. Sahin was very hospitable, welcoming and Sasha was amazing and she looked after us the whole time.
The food was equally lovely and flavoursome. A top notch Sunday roast 👍🏼

I went for dinner with 2 friends and my young dog. The service was amazing and treated my 4 legged one amazingly! She got a bowl of water and some treats as soon as we sat down. We all had the roast and it was delicious. Really big so make sure you go with hungry tummy

This is a nice pub and the service was great. But the food is such a let down. I ordered a chicken Caesar salad and it was just lettuce and croutons and cold precooked sliced chicken. If a pub is going to charge £14 for a salad, the least they could do is cook the chicken fresh. I was very grateful they removed it from the bill, as I didn’t eat it. The kitchen needs a real overhaul to match the quality of other pubs in the area.

So the pub is nice although if you want to sit in the garden you will spend 5 minutes sorting the WiFi and then 5 minutes sorting their app before ordering. We weren't that hungry so went for a bowl of cheesy chips to share. The receipt is folded smaller than a credit card for scale. £4.50 for 17 chips. So thats about 27p a chip ..
Pointed out small portion they weren't happy so replaced with a larger one.
Added star. But will have to have main meal and see sizes before upping further.
