There are four pods in total at Big Bear, which are all listed and descibed on their own page. And whilst they are spaced more than adequatley for a remote private get away, they also make an ideal area for a group or family gatering as if you hire all four pods you can use the grass area for your communal eating and sitting you can move all the tables to create a big eating and bbq area.

There is plenty of space for group games, you can put up a gazebo for extra storage space or to sit under if it rains. Hen parties, adult birthdays, anniversary's, family get aways and children birthday parties are just some of the reasons they have been booked. Family of 4, stayed for two nights in a glamping pod.

The location is perfect, peaceful & beautiful. Now don't get me wrong, the pods were ok, we had a bee's nest under ours so we constantly heard buzzing but I suppose this can't be helped. We also had a small leak in the roof (which only leaked on the first night when it was hammering it down!) The pods were compact to say the least. It was disappointing there was no fridge (unless paid extra) so the supply of coffee & tea was a bit pointless without paying an extra £15 to keep milk. Breakfast was nice but a bit pricey at £40 for 4 without drinks. The bed was comfy.. however.. not sure how they

We really enjoyed our stay, we were the only visitors on the campsite! Very easy to socially distance, in a beautiful location, very quiet. Facilities were great, in clean condition and Cassie kindly provided hand sanitisers and disposable paper towels to use in the bathroom. Will definitely be visiting again soon

Fantastic stay. Pod was lovely. Ample parking although the gravel isn't great if your car has a bit of horse power through the front wheels. Pod was spacious. Sofa was bed was as good as a sofa bed could be. Pod could have done with a little mirror on the wall. Definitely advise bringing an extension lead. The pod was nice and cosy and even better with a projector. Overall great stay and hopefully will be back in the summer.

Liked-It had very high potential it looked nice in the photos if it was clean it would have been lovely.
Disliked-Very unclean pod and washrooms, the pod had cob webs We cleaned it ourselves,I got rid of 2 spiders in the 1st 3 minutes was very disappointed , the outside of it was very unclean as well there was a dead insect right next to the hand sanitiser they left, and it was really filthy and nothing to do with in walking distance , it was a real shame we was really looking forward to it

My first time camping. Had a brilliant time. All Covid changes implemented well. Great toilets and showers. Brilliant little shop with everything you could need.

Cassie and Gary were fantastic hosts. The Journey from West Yorkshire was plain sailing with a stop off at Cheshire Oaks. We were greeted with a bottle of prosecco on arrival and our name written on our door. We stayed one night in the Eagles Nest, it was cosy and lovely. I'm not a fan of camping so glamping was the perfect alternative. We hired a fire pit with marshmallows and sat and enjoyed the peace and quiet with a drink in hand (apart from the sheep but i don't mind).
Toilets and washing facilities were great too.
The surrounding countryside is breathtaking and lots of winding country roads

This must be the best campsite we have ever stayed in in regards to facilities - they were out of this world compared to others we have seen! I imagine the downfall could be that they don't have a lot of them but as we were the only people staying at the time we didn't have any problems with waiting times etc :)
Otherwise very quiet and far away from everywhere which suited us well but may be a bit far for some. Nice flat pitches but no particular view.
Either way, we would return any day just for those toilets!

Last night we camped without electricity (felt that i should put that in as I'm not normally a camper). The campsite was lovely and clean, very spacious pitches. The owners Gary and Cassie were really friendly and couldn't do more for us, they felt more like friends. They even delivered beer to the tent! (We paid!) I wasn't sure what to expect when it comes to the toilets but they were modern and clean! We didn't eat any food while there but we will be back and hopefully for longer! They had lots of great facilities, which if we were there for longer would of used, like the lounge etc.I would recommend

Fantastic hosts, lovely location and a good breakfast. The room is small but well equipped and the ensuite is on par with a good hotel. Would love to return.
