At North West Equine Vets we pride ourserves on offering exceptional equine care and a wide range of services for our clients in Yorkshire, South Cumbria and Lancashire whilst maintaining the friendly atmosphere and high level of personal attention associated with a smaller practice. Our main clinics are based at Rathmell in Yorkshire, Lupton in Cumbria and Great Harwood in Lancashire.
Our clinics at Great Harwood and Rathmell are fully equipped for lameness investigations with all weather sand mnage, trot up area and examination room. We utilise a range of diagnostic equipment including ultrasound scanners, x-ray machines and endoscopes. Anything not treated by surgical methods is considered medicine.

Services
North West Equine vets was established in 2015, when neighbouring equine practices Dalehead and Westmorland joined forces to offer a wider range of services. In 2018 we teamed up with Aldington Equine Vets to further increase the wealth of expertise and facilities offered to our clients. Our aim is to provide exceptional equine care without compromising the personal attention that comes with a small, approachable practice.
Catherine graduated from the Royal Veterinary College in 2004, gaining the surgery, large animal and pathology prizes for her year. She worked in equine practice in Suffolk before moving to Dalehead in 2008. Catherine has particular interests in lameness diagnosis and dentistry, holding the BEVA/BVDA Equine Dental Technician qualification.

This can include weight loss and recurrent lameness investigations, eye diseases, gastric ulcers, neurology, cardiology, respiratory diseases and many other conditions.
