Daisy Street Vets
If you need an appointment with one of our vets or nurses, or need any veterinary help or advice simply telephone us on 01254 53622. We are a single site veterinary practice, not a branch or a chain, so you have consistency every time you visit us. We can deal with all your pet's needs from vaccinations and neutering to helping them when they are poorly or injured.

If your pet is ill or injured we will see you as quickly as possible. Daisy Street Vets Blackburn, provides experienced veterinary care in Blackburn, Darwen, Hyndburn, Rishton, Wilpshire, Great Harwood and surrounding areas.
Services
We are a Royal College of Veterinary Surgeons Approved Training Practice. Daisy Street Vets meet the high requirements to be a nurse training centre. All the staff have to be up to date with current practices and the facilities have to be safe, reliable and modern. We are inspected regularly to ensure we comply with the high requirements to be a training practice.
To make an appointment with one of our veterinary surgeons please telephone us on 01254 53622. Appointments are available throughout the day Monday to Friday, 8.40am to 6.00pm and Saturday mornings 9.00am to 11.50am. An appointment normally lasts about 10 - 15 minutes and longer appointments are available when necessary.
Daisy Street Vets are happy to announce that we are now able to provide the new professional alternative to the "Elizabethan buster collar". These shirts can be used in a multitude of different situations and often replace the need for that hated "Cone of Shame". The Medical Pet Shirt offers excellent, comfortable protection after operations, such as neutering, or in cases of skin disease to prevent licking and self trauma.
Spring and summer time is an amazing time of year, with many new born creatures to be seen and our caring instincts are put to the test when we see young animals that look like they need our help. However, it is very important we learn and understand if and when these animals actually need our help.
From M65 Jcn 6 (or from the east) follow signs to town centre until you arrive at a large roundabout at the bottom of a hill (Eanam). Take the 3rd exit into Quarry St., a small road with car sales and service (Lookers) on each side. Continue along Quarry St. to the T-junction. Turn left and proceed 100yds to another T-junction.

Daisy Street Vets is owned and run by two local vets who have many years of experience. I have confidence in their advice regarding my pet dog & cat. The best interest of the animal is their priority. Quality of life is my aim for my pets.
The staff are excellent too. I consider that we are fortunate to have Daisy Street Vets locally.
It is rare to find a veterinary practice which has not been bought by businessmen.

Only just started using Daisy Street in the last 12months (our dog Snappy is 10years old now) we got recommended of a farmer friend who uses them for her dogs and am I glad we did , they are honest and pet caring unlike some other vets we've used. I wouldn't hesitate in recommending them at all , the staff are friendly and accommodating.

Appalling service received on saturday 11th october when I came to the practice with my dog. Was told to bring in a stool sample which I did only to be told by the vet ‘thats no good we need 3’ If I had been told that I would have brought it in. Gave my dog steroid injections without asking me first. I believe it was the vets last day with the practice but that isn’t mine or my dog’s problem and should not be an excuse for the poor treatment and the fact I have had to pay £101 for it and my dog is still having the same problem and i’m having to take him to another vet! Disgusting.. avoid

I can't thank the staff here enough. For their comfort they provided to our family today. We had to have a very lovely, sweet, kind and also furry family member put to sleep. They explained things with us. Let us be there and spend the final moments with our dear friend. The two ladies really helped me understand what was going to happen and how. I have issues where I can't always understand things with my fibromyalgia, mental health and just I don't deal well with these things. But without their care and support in those final moments I would have understood it all. Thank you.
