I started my career as a volunteer in 1987, qualifying as a Veterinary Nurse in 2002 and obtaining my Clinical Vet nursing degree with a first class honours in 2008. I have had a varied career having worked with both small (dogs and cats) and large (farm) animals for over 20 years and was a Veterinary Nursing Lecturer for 2 years.
My special interest are Laboratory and Exotic species (small mammals & Reptiles) of which I have completed post graduate certificates in. My role in the practice includes working alongside a great team, nurse training and promoting animal welfare and General Veterinary nursing. I have 2 Springer Spaniels, Amber and Ruby and 2 cats, Kirraz and Elias.
