Little Pixies is a home from home Children's private day nursery owned and run by Sarah Felkin. Little Pixies is a unique nursery with the emphasis on nurturing, caring childcare that we base on each child's individual needs. As a Mum that has used full time nursery care; I felt there was a lack of provision that matched my values and practices.
At Little Pixies we are passionate about providing the highest quality of childcare that you would give your own child at home. We have worked hard to create a calming nursery with light and airy rooms and a large garden with plenty of grass to run around on. We are committed to children having access to outdoor play every day and believe this is fundamental to a child's health and well-being.

Services
Little Pixies is built on a foundation of 'nurturing with nature', whilst creating an environment where children feel valued and leave at the end of their time with us as confident individuals and full of happy memories. Every family is unique in its values and beliefs and we take time to get to know you and work closely to become an extension of the foundations of family life that you have laid.
Sarah has many years' experience of business environments and understands the challenges of being a mum and juggling work. Sarah has been working hands on with the children since opening and is now a Level 3 Early Years Educator, she is an experienced Safeguarding lead, and although mainly office based running the business these days, still enjoys plenty of time with the children.
Our Imps room is for babies and toddlers, and cares for children from 12 weeks up to 2 years. This large open plan room has a separate space dedicated for our very youngest children to explore. Our routine for babies is an extension of your home routine; feeding and sleep times are tailored to your babies needs.
