Services
Neil and Jade and their young family look forward to welcoming you to Lapford Lodge. Neil was been nursing for the past 17 years, most recently at Nightingale Exeter. Prior to that he was in the armed forces. Jade also has a background in health care, and more recently has been bringing up their young family and breeding working spaniels.
Our dog boarding facility is designed to provide your furry friend a secure spacious kennel and run, making them feel relaxed and comfortable during their stay. Our kennels and runs have plenty of space to exercise, play and also socialise, if this is something your dog enjoys. We are happy to offer trial days where you can leave your pet with us before your holiday, making them familiar with the environment and experience.
We offer spacious quiet, luxury cat boarding services within a new and airy cattery, that is situated well away from our kennels. Each spacious unit is set on two levels. On the ground floor is a litter tray, scratch post and spacious area for exercise. There is then a ladder leading to a shelved, covered area for sleeping, food and water to make your feline friend comfortable.
If work or other commitments mean that you need to leave your dog alone for more than four hours a day, doggy daycare is one of the potential options that you can consider to provide care for them in your absence. It is infinitely preferable to leaving your dog unsupervised for long periods of time and provides your dog with more opportunities to socialise than, say, a once a day dog walking service.
You are welcome to provide your own food but there will be no reduction in the above fees. Check in time is up until 6pm, but please let us know as we may not have kennels available early during really busy periods. With prior notice, we can pick also up and drop off your pet within a 10 mile radius of the kennels for 1 per mile travel cost.

Neil and Jade are both very professional and friendly. They are 100% committed to looking after each and every one of the pets in their care. Our cat Pinky loves going there and we have peace of mind while we are away. We would highly recommend Lapford Lodge.

Tiddles spent a week at Lapford Cattery. Jeff and Jean are very professional and Tiddles seemed to be very relaxed when we picked her up. The cattery was very clean and the pen was spacious and warm. Competitive price. We wouldn't hesitate to use this cattery again.

Our cat stayed here for 11 days while we were on holiday. Booked 4 weeks in advance and were lucky to secure a place as it seems to be busy during the summer months. The cattery chalets are fully equipped with a basket/ bed with heating pad, scratch post, ping pong ball, litter box and a ladder leading up to the "sleeping area". Very friendly owners, would definitely recommend this place!

Kitten stayed for 35 days and was sleeping in her bed with a heated pad when I went to pick her up. She was clearly a happy cat and had been well looked after. The cat runs are within an outer building with large windows. I have no hesitation in recommending Lapford Lodge. The owners are friendly and caring. Some years ago my little dog boarded at the Kennels and was well cared for.
