Dorwell is a purpose built, family run cattery. Situated on the edge of Dartmoor National Park we are easily accessible, being only 200 yards from the main A38 at Wrangaton. Licenced, insured and vet recommended, we offer a wide choice of accommodation and a high level of care. We can facilitate special diets and medication when provided.
All cats will automatically be covered by pet insurance upon their arrival and for the duration of their stay. However, this will not cover any existing medical conditions your cat may have on arrival. All cats must have an up to date vaccination certificate (flu and enteritis) and this must be shown on or prior to arrival.

Our rescue cat has just had 13 nights stay at Dorwell. He can be quite nervous and is unsure of new people after having been abused for around 4 years in his previous life. We were very anxious about putting him into a cattery as he’s only been with us 5 months but Nicci & her daughter totally understood this & their calm demeanour & natural… responses gave us the reassurance we needed to know we were leaving our precious boy in good hands.
We were delighted to see how relaxed & chilled out Pebbles was when we picked him up. He had clearly been looked after well, his

Absolutely Brilliant staff and cattery. Originally started using here quite a few years ago when one of my cats was diabetic, it was the only one at the time near Plymouth that could give insulin injections. Both my fur babies were treated superbly and spoilt. When I acquired my new fur baby, a mischievous Bengal, I had no hesitation in using this place as his holiday home! He now has another Bengal buddy and they share. I leave them knowing they are happy and I have peace of mind. Keep up the Great work.
