Established in 1790, Chapman & Son is a traditional family butchers in Surrey, serving only the finest meat to the residents of Tadworth and surrounding villages. We like to know all of our customers by first name and are extremely proud of how we differentiate ourselves, by providing a friendly and traditional approach.
We are proud to source all of our meat from reputable and sustainable farms and abattoirs in Great Britain. Plain pork, pork & leek, pork & sage and pork with red wine sausages or plain pork chipolatas. Super-lean rump steak, minced twice for the same great flavour as our prime cuts of steak. Lamb neck fillet, diced or left as pieces for a lean, flavoursome curry, or even roasting.
One of our best-sellers, cajun chicken wings are the perfect lunchtime snack, hot or cold. Fresh rotisserie chickens that are big enough to feed the family, for a quick and easy meal. We cure all our gammon on the premises, with no added water or emulsifiers. We offer cooked and uncooked joints, as well as lean slices of home-cured ham that we carve off the bone, right in front of your eyes.
Our chickens are sourced locally from Norfolk and we always make sure that we have a variety of different sizes and weights available. If you like your beef super lean, our roast sirloin or topside joints will go down a treat. Or if you prefer a bit of marbling in your beef for that little more flavour, why not try a piece of rib, on or off the bone?

Chris Chapman has so much pride in his business only the best quality meats, he is polite and funny, he and the team work so hard, his shop is spotless always cleaning, his team are friendly when I walk in I am greeted with a smile and made to feel welcome always. They carry my shopping to my car and lately Chris has been dropping my meat to my home as I am post op. He works exceptionally long hours day in day out and always manages a smile and a joke.

I have used this butchers twice in a year. The first time I was charge £14 for 4 very average chicken breasts which is extortionate. I didn’t even realise until I returned home otherwise I would have refused.
Today I gave it another try, I asked for burgers and sausages and told them I was having a bbq today (Saturday on Easter Weekend). Returned home to find I had been sold frozen burgers and paid £7.30 for the pleasure. Called to complain, as I I could not use them for the BBQ and was told that it is fine to use frozen burgers on the BBQ! They completely missed the point. I asked when they

To be totally honest I’m questioning the previous reviews!!! Myself and partner have popped in as convenient but have been met with unfriendly staff and over priced, under par produce!!!! Example.... I usually shop at bettameat in Banstead. The guys are overly helpful and extremely friendly....... a 5k tub of FRESH (not frozen) chicken breast fillets £23. I popped in here this morning to be offered 5k of FROZEN fillets for £33!!! Now feel free to correct me if I’m wrong but feel this place is using the monopoly of abusing local residents. My advice is use the extra diesel/petrol and receive
