Services
The Blythburgh pork comes from the herd of free-range pigs that are reared on the picturesque north Suffolk coast. These pigs benefit from being reared for four weeks longer that conventionally reared pigs to allow the delicious flavour and mouth-watering succulence to develop fully. The rearing encourages the development of the fine grained meat, full of flavour that our Gloucester Old Spot pigs are renowned for.
Our grass-fed beef is sourced locally from Surrey farms, all of which have grazed on natural pasture grass all year round. Once the beef arrives to us, we dry age it for a minimum of 28 days in our Himalayan Salt dry age chamber. During the dry-aging process, moisture is drawn out of the meat. This causes the beef flavour to become even beefier and more flavourful.
The Salt Marsh lambs that we supply enter the market from June and can go through to about March; we source the majority from Essex and Suffolk on the coast areas such as Woodbridge, Walton-on the Naze, Mersea Island and Foulness Island, we also draw some from Kent. The succulent sweet flavour of this lamb is a direct result of the natural marsh land grazing which they roam freely over in the summer months.

The bacon. Oh my god the bacon.
We also had a full Christmas roast from Ben's this year with a whole chicken, pigs in blankets, and his stuffing. It was in-credible. Will definitely be repeating next year.
We've been customers of Ben's for a while now and the meat, knowledge, and service is always absolutely fantastic. What a nice guy too.
