My great grandfather, Reginald, purchased a charming little butchers' shop in the heart of Kingston Upon Thames. Almost a century later, we have four wonderfully distinct shops scattered throughout Surrey but Kingston still remains at the core of what we do. Here, all of our unique products are handmade, ranging from flavourful sausages to colourful stir-fries.
We also specialise in the long-lost art of whole carcass butchery, 30-day dry-aged grass-fed beef and farm to fork traceability.

Services
My great grandfather, Reginald purchased a charming little butcher's shop in the heart of Kingston Upon Thames. He had one goal in mind- to provide quality meat paired with exceptional service. In 1938, my grandfather Ronald took over the shop and continued to grow the business through the Second World War, a period of strict meat rationing.
As a butcher for Bevan's, you will be working as part of a remarkable team, ensuring that our customers receive the best possible service. You will also be responsible for maintaining the shop floor and driving sales. Butchery experience is essential, and we may ask for a block test. As a sales assistant for Bevan's, you will be working as part of a remarkable team, ensuring that our customers receive the best possible service.
We are situated on the Richmond road in Kingston. Free parking in hour bays just around the corner from the shop, there are also pay and display bays available. The shop is just ten minutes walk from Kingston station. The 65 bus stops just outside, enabling easy access via public transport. PUBLIC TRANSPORT - The 458 bus travels along Lammas Lane to the Princess Alice Hospice Roundabout, a ten minute walk to Garsons.
Creamy Beef Stroganoff has to be one of our favourite meals. This recipe is so simple yet never fails to deliver on flavour and will leave you wanting more. It can be served with rice or mashed potato but at Bevan's, we prefer a tagliatelle or linguine style pasta. We recommend using a tender, juicy cut such as ribeye, sirloin or bavette.
One of our favourite summer meals has to be our handmade Lamb Kofta's paired with Moroccan Couscous and fresh Tzatziki. This perfect pairing of sweet and spicy combined with the crisp Tzatziki simply can't be beaten and is perfect for a quick yet delicious mid-week meal. Pop your Kofta's onto a baking tray and cook in a preheated oven on 180 degrees for 20 minutes.

Be very careful when buying at Bevans in Long Acres garden centre..there ere 2 pork chops in a pack and marked reduced to but only original price was shown(use by 22.04.21) When I asked what is reduced to was told that is THE reduced price???All.other items that were reduced had original price sticker and reduced price sticker The chap behind would not have it and insisted that this is the reduced price but could not tell me what price was it reduced from? Allthough the reduced items wit before and after prices were in front of him to see it

Always well stocked with a great range of quality meat. Steaks are always faultless though obviously not cheap at about £10 p/p. But there’s plenty of really well priced options. My favourites are the spicy chicken burgers and wagyu burgers but they also do some interesting sausage flavours. There’s a small range of veg but it’s also top quality (cauliflower, baking potatoes) and a couple of nice bottles ciders. An essential part of our weekly shop!

Bevans Butchers at Garsons, Esher. As soon as the order book was open we placed an order for a turkey crown roast, and paid a deposit of £20. Unfortunately, on Friday the 21st of December our oven packed up. With no oven available just before Christmas, we felt we had no choice but to cancel our order. When we went to the Butchers we were refused a deposit, the manager wouldn't speak to us or offer a reasonable alternative. Is this the Christmas Spirit we can expect from Bevans? We have had good turkeys three times before. But after this we will not return.

This was Gibb & Evans Family Butchers but is now Bevan's Butchers. Went there today as Gibb Evans butchers used to be my favorite haunt and we wanted to buy some liver.
To be honest it was very disappointing. Everything is now in plastic rather than being for sale on the fresh cabinet. They have cheeses and cakes for sale in the butchers !! I thought butchering is about meat not cakes.
They only had calves liver fresh everything else was in plastic packaging. The calves liver was put in some packet that the butcher sealed with a machine but hadn't sealed it properly and
