Mycenae House & Gardens
Mycenae House is a venue committed to serving the whole community through our facilities and activities. We hire our spaces for private and community uses and promote our own cultural programme. We have 23 rooms which hold from 3 people to 120 people for a truly bewildering array of activities. We are a not for profit charity and work tirelessly for the development of our local communities.
Services
In an average week there are over 120 sessions on offer to take part in, from yoga to local history, from pre-school playgroups to ballet, from jazz music to drama, from painting to weight control. It's also a great place to hang out with a cafe/bar which is open all day and evening. Mycenae House also promote a range of events for local audiences to attend such as Cinema, Jazz Club, Acoustic Open Mic Nights, Theatre and Comedy.
Children take part in a wide range of stimulating learning activities on-site as well as off-site activities including visits to the residents of the local care home once a week. At Bo-Peeps pre school we aim to provide a rich and stimulating learning environment that will help nurture young people into capable individuals.
Mycenae House has a fully stocked and operational cafe bar which has been extensively refurbished. The cafe bar is open daily from 9.00am until 10.00pm. We stock a full range of snacks, sandwiches, cakes and sweets. We offer coffee made from our bean to cup state of the art Barista machine. Our licensed bar offers a range of bottled beers, wines and spirits.
Our Main Hall and Basement Halls are available for wedding receptions. Our halls can accommodate up to 120 people and provide a flexible, friendly and comfortable space for that special occasion. At the rear of Mycenae House you have access to a beautiful urban wooded garden which is an ideal location for photographs and arrival drinks.
If you have a children's party to plan then we invite you to come and share your party fun with us here in Royal Greenwich, South East London, and make memories for your children in our Basement Hall and Large rooms which are ideal spaces for all ages.

Our Basement Hall provides a perfect blank canvas and has been the backdrop for an array of themed parties ranging from dancers, princesses, pirates, superhero's, scientists, spies, witches and many more.Whether you want to provide your own food and entertainment or hire in the professionals to take care of everything, our versatile spaces will allow you to create the perfect party and memories for your little one.

Lots of things go on here, activities for kids and adults alike. Friendly staff run the house too. Café offering hot and cold snacks at reasonable prices. I had my birthday party here a couple of years ago too. Check out their website to see what's going on.

Today was a sorprice to see two guys covered with hoodie and preparing a cigar 🚬, and a adult gentleman requested to them to no smoke in the area. But they reply about have the right to be there two.
In the end the gentleman left a arrived three ladys and one more guy with drinks (alcoholic)🥃 we had to left like other ladie who was there. Because they looked us in certain bad way and the smell of Mariuana was bad for our littlest. The place needs a vigilant. Other way it will be not safe for our children because they just drop the empty cans 🥫 /bottles there.

We went to Mycenae House to see Nine Below Zero, and the show started with Leon Tilbrook. It was a small venue but it was a fantastic night, Leon was great on the guitar and sung songs that he wrote, he is very talented performer. Then there was a short break and Nine below Zero came on it was Denise Greaves on Guitar and Mark Feltham on Harmonica, they both have a great rapport with each other. It was a great evening of blues I would definitely recommend seeing them, I had a really good foot tapping and clapping evening , and being a small venue it made it more intimate.

Pleasant community centre which houses a small cafe and a hall for local plays and events. Hall can comfortably have 50-60 with some cabaret style seating. The cafe has sandwiches, confectionery and hot drinks. Staff are very nice and friendly. There are also display cabinets of jewellery of local designers. You can park on the street for free after 630pm.
