Whatever your event or celebration, we are here to make your special day a truly memorable one. Spread over three floors, Locanta can cater for any event for up to 100 people! We take reservations for lunch and dinner. To make a reservation, please call us at 0121 2365 789 between 11am-11pm, Monday to Sunday.
A farm house built in 1776, originally a thimble makers turned into restaurant Locanta which stands strong in Birmingham's unique St. Paul's Square. Catering for birthdays, business cooperate lunches and light bites also available for private functions. Locanta keeping the traditional values on the plate seven days a week from midday till midnight.

This is the best Italian restaurant I’ve been to in Birmingham. The food is exquisite, the atmosphere is friendly and warm and makes you feel European at home. The live music adds this little extra and I’ll always want to come back to this place where staffs are very friendly and you don’t feel abroad at all. Very well done to Locanta family!

I hate giving a bad review but booked a table for 8.30pm, we arrived 10minutes early, but we're stood by the sanitiser box until 9pm. We were offered 2 complimentary drinks while stood waiting. The bloody Mary drink was so spicy we left after the first sip and 45minutes wait without a seat. Almost ruined our night but got a late table at San Carlo which was great.

The food is so delicious here and this restaurant has a lovely, lively atmosphere. Staff were very friendly and attentive, they altered dishes to suit us - they went above and beyond to make sure we were happy with everything. Halal chicken and lamb served here. I really loved the vibe and the food. I will definitely visit again!

This place is amazing, quaint and delightful. The host Eric was very accommodating and made my sister and I feel very welcome. The menu is extensive with the option to create your own dish. The prices are very reasonable and the food was delectable. Would recommend this place to anyone who enjoys comfort and excellent food. There is also space available for party bookings.

Really superb little place!!! Absolutely recommend it. The food is good, the place itself is friendly, very nicely set up and gives you a real summery feeling but also a little romantic. The staff are very friendly and we sometimes got a glass of wine as a thank you after a meal, how sweet is that?! I always felt that the place is special and that it deserves more attention. The guys are open to customising dishes which doesn't seem to be standard anymore and the pizzas and salads in there are yum!
