Excellent!! Best Italian restaurant in Birmingham, UK!
We have eaten to quite a bit of Italian restaurants in town but by far this one is THE BEST! Food is really Italian authentic. Honestly it is the real Italian food experience and ambience. Of course, another plus is the excellent service too which Alex and his team made sure that is the best one! Recommend 💯%!

We had a gorgeous meal there last night.Really delicious food. Service was excellent and super efficient . Booked online as not local to the area. Confirmation received promptly. Great that the menu us available on line too. All in all a fantastic place to eat. We have already recommended it to family who are locals.

Great food. Prepared wonderfully well.
But the staff is too small to handle the hordes. The time between people leaving a table and haveing it cleaned up for the folks who have been in the queue is at least 30 minutes. The time for someone to come to your table and take any sort of order is at least 20 minutes.
The food, however, is worth the wait.

I was with my wife and my mother in law at the Bullring for almost four hours straight. I know, I should be given a medal. It was the in law's first visit to Brum tho so I couldn't kick up a stink but my stomach was screaming. Normally, I do not like eating in or around the Bullring because, as everyone knows, the restaurants tend to be much more expensive. But I was starving and had no intention of walking any further and as I was with ladies I thought I would prove I could be a considerate host and opted for Del Villagio.

I took my fiancee for lunch at Del Villiagio in the Bullring as we fancied something a bit different.
The menu is for true Italian lovers.
Taking into account that it was lunchtime, we didn't fancy a massive meal but the portions were really generous.
I had the Calzone, which was really huge and the bolognese sauce that came with it was delicious. With this I had a shandy which was also really nice and they didn't go cheap on the lager.
My partner took the Callamari and Garlic Bread and both of those were delicious too. However, if you are a small eater, the Callamari would be good as

This del villagio is always busy yet the service does often let it down. When it first opened it was one of my favourite placves to eat with the unique style of service and somewhat self service casual feel about the inner restaurant.
sitting outside in good weather is a plus for the location, but now you have to order from your table with waiters who are not as competent as they should be.
the upstairs restaurant is similar to the one on broad street and is reasonably priced for the quality of food served.
