Very pleasant serving staff but portions were rather disappointing. We ordered the platter for three with a starter and all three of us were still hungry afterwards. The injera needs some work too. It lacked the sour and more fermented that can be experienced at other restaurants. Red lentils lacked false cardamom flavour and were not very flavoursome. Perhaps this is meant to be Anglicized Ethiopian food but it is important to realise that many customers in the UK actually love spicy and flavoursome food.

So glad that we came here for dinner before lockdown; the food is so tasty that we ordered the same thing twice! :) The injeera is 100% here unlike some places that cut corners and don't put a lot of teff in the mixture, the vegetable and meat dishes were beautifully seasoned. This family run restaurant really deserves you to come and try it for yourself as it is the complete package; great food, friendly service, lovely music and a relaxed atmosphere. If you have not tried Eritrean or Ethiopian food you must come and try it here as you'll leave happy and satisfied. Definitely try the platters

We really enjoyed our visit here! The staff were welcoming and friendly We shared the veggie platter for two, which consisted of 3 delicious vegetable dishes and a salad, served with lots of lovely injera. The bread is wonderful, so light and tasty. We also enjoyed the Ethiopian beer. I will definitely return to taste some of their other dishes too.

I didn't actually go to the savanna, I would recommend going next door to the Caribbean experience as the food was amazing!
