Services
Clare grew up in Holmes Chapel in Cheshire. Her interest in eye care began at the age of 18 when she started studying optics at university in Manchester. After leaving university Clare gained valuable experience at opticians throughout the UK, until she moved to Much Wenlock to open her own practice in 1982.
Floaters are extremely common, and are sometimes associated with flashing lights in the eye, especially when they first appear. When they first appear, they normally affect one eye, but may affect both eyes at the same time. In fact, they're so common, that approximately two thirds of the population will have floaters by the time they are in their mid-sixties!
