Situated in the quaint cobbled street of Newport the Practice is like the Tardis, it isn't until you step inside you see how big the Practice is allowing us to have a large consulting room so as to not make you feel claustrophobic, a dispensing area separate from our reception area our disabled lift access for those that can not use our main entrance, and with our own car-park you don't even have to spend time looking for a parking space.

Services
Our private Eye Examination takes around 30 minutes and includes digital retinal photography, if you qualify for a funded NHS Eye Examination and would like to have the digital retinal photography this can be carried out for a small private fee. Please note, that to be entitled to any of the additional eyecare services you must have a registered GP in Shropshire.
As an independent practice we are able to offer main brand manufacturer spectacles lenses. We mainly use Hoya as our first choice brand but for those that prefer other brands like Essilor, Zeiss etc our independent glazing laboratory can provide these upon request enabling us to be able to meet the needs of our clients.
Our practice is located on the historic St Mary's Street in Newport. For those visiting by car, a free private car park is available to the side of the practice. For those who require wheelchair access, please look out for the lift access available at our side door, located just off the main pavement.

Wonderful help for my daughter. They were very helpful in supporting my daughter through her visual stress diagnosis 3 years ago this was so good for her after issues with her vision at school. Recently we went back as she was having more problems. After talking through her symptoms and her test with Noel we changed things around she is now confident that if things change she can tell someone and there's nothing wrong with it. Now she has glasses that she loves, she can finally see her work and she was so excited to get Sea to See glasses to help the environment as well. Looking forward to choosing

Always professional and helpful. Noel and Ellen worked hard to find me a solution to my problems with increased screen use during lockdown. I was given several trial options and they really took the time to find the solution that worked for me even when the first didn't work and a supplier going out of business. I now have perfect lenses in my William Morris glasses that have made my work day so much easier.

The worst!
Noel tried to convince me that I could actually see better with the lenses as per his prescription by placing some obscure lens in front of me and saying "this is what you can see without them". I replied, "I don't think so Noel, everything over 12ft or so is blurred". He said to give them a chance so I went away for 6 hours or so. Headaches and streaming eyes, I went back and had the lenses removed. I said that I was so glad I did not drive to which Noel responded by saying, "there is no reason you shouldn't drive with those". I asked if this was a wind up. Sadly not and I got scratched
