Sarah is an experienced Chartered Accountant who has previously worked for a number of organisations in the commercial and charity sectors. She is responsible for VDBM's financial and compliance matters and for the promotion of the Company. Sarah also holds an interior design qualification and has advised on various clients' projects.
Her hobbies include gardening and walking in the countryside with her much loved dog. With a background of commercial property in London, Jasmine has been with VDBM since the beginning. She has many years' experience of both commercial and residential management and is dedicated to making sure that properties are properly maintained.

VDBM is an established independent firm of Chartered Surveyors providing a wide range of professional services to property owners and occupiers. VDBM act as agents dealing with sales and lettings of all types of commercial property; not only shops, offices and industrial premises but also development land and leisure properties. From individual shops through to whole portfolios, VDBM's agency team are able to advise clients on the best form of marketing for their property in order to achieve the best possible results.
A significant part of VDBM's valuation work is in providing valuations for Inheritance Tax purposes and subsequently, if required, negotiating with the District Valuer on behalf of the deceased's estate. VDBM are part of the Registered Valuers Scheme operated by the Royal institution of Chartered Surveyors.
The impact of rent reviews will very much depend on the market conditions at the time, but both give the landlord an opportunity to periodically review the rent of a commercial property. VDBM can advise owners and tenants as appropriate on the best strategy. We have access to large databases of comparable evidence and advise on rent reviews throughout the country, with many years of experience of running cases to Arbitration when necessary.
