In order to reach a decision on whether or not to proceed on a purchase of a residential property, it is advisable to have a survey and valuation carried out. It may be that you are having a Mortgage Valuation carried out, however this is prepared only for the lender, and therefore should not be relied upon by any purchaser.
Building Surveys (formally known as Structural Surveys) are suitable for all residential and commercial property. It is advisable to have a Building Survey if the property which you are considering buying is of unusual construction, has perhaps been extended or altered or where a major extension or renovation is planned.
We also provide Commercial Valuations for the purposes of Inheritance Tax, Capital Gains Tax, lease renewals, rent reviews, acquisition and mortgage lending. We have a detailed knowledge of the residential and commercial property market in West London, North West and North London, Middlesex, Hertfordshire and surrounding areas in the South-East.
