Services
Our veterinary team comprises five full time vets and a part-time vet who work across all three practices to ensure that you are able to make an appointment with any vet at a time and place that is convenient to you. We have a practice policy of continued professional development to ensure that every team member keeps up-to-date with modern technologies and practice.
Forest House Veterinary Group has an array of facilities and services to ensure that pets are cared for to the highest possible standards. This section explains a little about the services we offer to help your pet live a long and healthy life. If you would like any further information, please do not hesitate to contact us.
At Forest House, we have consultations available 7 days a week, including late nights on a Tuesday and Thursday until 8pm, for you to see one of our vets if you are worried about your pet. In addition, outwith our core consulting times, we provide emergency consultations from 8am until 9pm Monday to Friday and 8am to 5pm at the weekend and on bank holidays.
Our Pet Portal has been designed to provide convenience for our clients who wish to update their information and communication preferences online. Clients are also able to view their pet's information, including upcoming appointments and vaccination due dates. In the future, we are planning to introduce online appointment booking via the Pet Portal.
Microchipping your pet gives them the best chance of being identified and reunited with you if they become lost or stolen. At Forest House Veterinary Group, we strongly recommend microchipping and from 2016, it will become a legal requirement that all dogs are microchipped in England. A small microchip, the size of a grain of rice, is implanted under the animal's skin, between the shoulder blades, using a sterile needle.

These vets are fantastic - and i didn't need to actually visit them! had a poorly rabbit last week, and as requested they gave me liquid food over the phone with no fuss. at no point were they pushing me to come in or buy to anything, only concerned if he didn't improve to visit. when we did book eventually, he picked up overnight and they were genuinely happy to hear that he had improved. all with no fuss or 'scare tactics' and then they cancelled the appointment for us. fab people, who actually care about the animals rather than the income :)
