CHERTSEY VETS are an independent, family run practice in Chertsey, Surrey; here to look after you and your pet. We are open as usual for all consultations and procedures, please remember to bring your mask. Between them, they have almost 30 years of veterinary experience, and both trained at the prestigious University of Cambridge Veterinary School.
We will endeavour to book you in with your preferred vet, or the vet who has been seeing you for a particular problem. All the vets discuss their cases, so don't worry if you see Sarah, Tristan, Mollie, Jenny or David; they will all know what has been going on with your pet, and what the treatment plan is.

Services
Chertsey Vets has experienced, knowledgeable and friendly staff, and looks forward to welcoming you and your pets, to their modern friendly clinic! After spending many years working in emergency and referral practice; local husband and wife vets, Tristan and Sarah, set up Chertsey Vets, on Guildford Street in Chertsey, we also have Woodham Lane Vets in New Haw.
Keyhole surgery is very common in human medicine, as we know it is less painful, quicker and has fewer risks than traditional open surgery. Tristan enjoys performing keyhole surgery, and has undertaken further specialist training. Price of a keyhole spay depends on your dog's weight, so please call us, and we can advise you.
If you have answered 'YES' to any of these questions, then please call us on 01932 565 082 to discuss the best type of appointment for you. Appointments are 15 minutes long, and for one pet only. Please note that the vet can only discuss one problem, or two minor problems, in a consultation. If you have a lot of queries, you may need to book a longer consultation.
When did you last use a worming product, and can you tell us the name of the product if you can recall it? When did you last use a flea treatment product, and can you tell us the name of the product if you can recall it? How do you stay organised and budget for your pet's preventiative healthcare throughout the year?
If you are due a re-check before your medicines can be dispensed, a member of the reception team will call you. Please note that medicines may need to be ordered in before they are checked and dispensed, so we require 48-hours notice for prescription requests. Thanks for submitting your prescription request, a member of our reception team will be in touch within 48-hours to confirm.

Very caring vets. Like all vets however their medications prices are high. On a positive, if you sign up for healthy pet plan unlimited consultations are included.
Today I took my cat for follow up. Before I arrived, the practise called me and asked for consultation fee over the phone. I was not happy but paid. After my appointment I had to pay the estimated fee of £700 for the surgery. What is this, frightened that I'm going to runaway without paying. This is a massive lack of trust. I am upset about this.

Excellent friendly vets with great people skills!
Our dog had orthopaedic surgery this week. The procedure was meticulously explained, a folder of post-op requirements provided, and contact made immediately after surgery.
Our other dog loves these vets so much that he can't wait to get in the door when he needs to!!!!!

Positive: Professionalism
Chertsey vets pulled out the stops to save our beloved dog and her unborn puppies. All survived and are today thriving. I cannot praise this practice enough for their dedication and professionalism and frankly their caring attitude. My family are so grateful for everything you have done ❤️

Chertsey Vets are amazing. They are caring, very friendly and helped my elderly cat live longer than expected and even at the heartbreaking time of putting her to sleep in an emergency appointment, they were very sensitive and empathetic to mine and my pets needs when they were clearly busy. I wasnt rushed and we were taken care of. I was even sent a sympathy card which was a very sweet and unexpected gesture. They have also made a real effort to be COVID compliant and safe. I can see no reason that anyone would ever leave a bad review for Chertsey Vets as they have been consistently brilliant
