When you wear contact lenses, it is important that your eyes are checked regularly to ensure they remain healthy and you always have the optimum lens for your eyes. As a member of the Elizabeth Evans Optician scheme, you will receive routine contact lens checkups, as well as any additional checks you might need, without any additional cost.
Elizabeth Evans Opticians are set up to help guide you through the mine field of choosing new spectacles with honest advice and information so you can make the best decisions. The result is a new pair of glasses that are comfortable, allow your prescription to work as intended, and compliment your face and personality - spectacles that you want to wear!
Where we differentiate from other opticians is that we have our own on-site lab, which means there is often a quicker turnaround time for your new spectacles or repairs. Our Lab Technician, Ray, brings an amazing 39 years of prime glazing experience to the practice. A highly proficient, specialist glazer for years, he has been trained as a British Standards Inspector which really shows in his work.

After using a large high street opticians and having very poor service i decided to shop local at Elizabeth Evan's.
It has been a fabulous experience and restored my faith in good customer service.
The eye test was thorough and Elizabeth instilled confidence in me very friendly but also professional. Sophie helped me choose the lenses/frames and I found this so much easier than just being left to it.!(unlike the high street stores)
All the staff are lovely . Lesley on reception very helpful. I am trying varivocals and the after care service has been excellent. I have had phone calls to check

We've been using Elizabeth Evans for nine years, and are utterly delighted with the quality of the service she and her staff provide. The quality of the care you receive is absolutely outstanding, both in relation to the eye-check itself and in relation to the surrounding service. I'd particularly like to compliment the assistance you get in selecting a pair of frames that suit your face - my wife even lets me go to eye-checks on my own now, because she trusts Elizabeth Evans's staff to find glasses that actually suit me!

Elizabeth and her team are fantastic. Not being a glasses wearer for most of my life I was really struggling to find the most practical option for my needs. Elizabeth really understood my issues and the recommendation for a combination of Contact Lenses plus Varifocal glasses has transformed my working life. I can’t recommend them highly enough.
