At Michael Offord Optometrist you will be treated as an individual who is extremely important to us - something we take great pride in.' You will be seen in an optical practice owned and inspired by an award winning Optometrist. You will benefit from over 30 years of experience in both your eye examination and dispensing.
Biography Sam has been with the practice since 2011 and was promoted to practice manager in 2018 after. Biography Deborah joined the practice in 2008 straight from Bradford University after gaining a 2:1 degree in optometry. Biography Alex was originally employed in 2005 as our 'Saturday' girl whilst still in full time education.
An OCT (Ocular Coherence Tomographer) scan is a highly advanced piece of equipment used to give our Optometrists an in-depth view of the layers at the back of the eye not seen with any other procedure in practice. It assists in the early diagnosis of conditions that might otherwise be undetected until symptoms become more obvious, often at a much later stage.

At Michael Offord's we have invested in the latest technology and our Optometrists undertake continuous professional training to offer you a comprehensive and thorough eye examination. In addition to a full eye examination we can offer OCT(Ocular Coherence Tomography) Digital Retinal Photography and Visual Field Tests, each of which can detect early signs of eye conditions and give a better overall image of the health of your eyes.

My kids get their glasses there but no way I would change my business to here. This is purely driven by my most recent interaction where by I simply enquired about having my glasses adjusted there. The immediate response was that they would not be liable for any breakage and when I asked does the lady break many her response was that she’s worked there for seven years and she’s broken loads!
How do you expect to win new business if you have that sort of customer response and experience?
