Seamus Fitzsimons Funeral Directors
The business has been carried on until now for over 40 years at 72 Scotch Street, Downpatrick by the late Seamus and his sister Helena. The new premises at 24 English Street, Downpatrick offer a reception room where the family can arrange a funeral in private surroundings. The rest room can be used for the repose of the deceased prior to going home or to church.

Ciaran will be ably assisted by three of the present, very experienced staff members Ronnie, Pat and Robert. Dearly beloved husband to Martha and loving father of Diane, Owen, Thomas, Paul, Siobhan and Cormac. Dear father in law and cherished grandfather to his 17 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren.

More and more people are deciding to make arrangements in advance for their own funeral service. This decision relieves the burden of organising a funeral from the rest of your family and ensures that your wishes are carried out to the letter. Each individual is provided with a guarantee that Seamus Fitzsimons Funeral Directors will provide our services without further charge.
At the time of death of a loved one there are so many difficult decisions to be made quickly and among those are organising the Funeral Liturgy. Given that two readings are required as well as the psalm and Gospel Acclamation, it is normal to have two readers. The two readers could then share reading the Prayer of the Faithful.
