Kates Bridal room is not just a shop, its more like a sanctuary for the curvy bride to be who is just to afraid of either shopping, wearing a dress, being looked at or more often than not a combination of all 3! Kate has a genuine passion as a plus size woman herself for making you the most confident version of yourself on your wedding day.

I had the most wonderful experience here today finding the dress of my dreams!!
I'd previously been to two allegedly size inclusive stores who only had 2 dresses in a plus size available to try on. Today I was warmly welcomed and able to try on as many different styles as I should be able to! Truly size inclusive and never once did I feel body… conscious or uncomfortable.
I'm so glad to have found your gorgeous shop, and the staff treated us like friends from the moment we stepped in the door!
I'm so excited to have found my dress and can't wait to come back when she arrives 😍

I couldn’t have asked for a better experience. To have the full attention of two members of staff and a whole bridal boutique to ourselves can’t fail to make you feel special! I was made to feel as though I could really explore all the different styles and guided to find the shape and style I wanted. It was amazing to have dresses in a range of… sizes, bigger than the usual sample size! I have been trying to write this review for a few days now. There aren’t words strong enough to describe how perfect my experience was with Kate and the team. From the initial meeting at a wedding fair to convincing them to pretend they didn’t know me for a second try on. Had the best experience wedding dress shopping here! The shop caters for women size 14+ so if you are mid/plus size I would definitely recommend coming here. I felt so comfortable here and loved getting to know Kate and her staff.

I had the best shopping experience here ever!! I was really scared and anxious before coming the store, I am not petite in any form and shopping for a wedding dress was something I was dreading.. BUT from the moment I set foot in the shop everyone made me feel at such ease we had a laugh and chatted and I ended up having an amazing morning trying on beautiful dresses. Went to my first appointment at Kates Bridal yesterday and was very excited and nervous at first. Kate and Nicola put me at ease straight away and I tried on so many lovely dresses.
