Kevin and Alison Morrissey welcome you to our grade II Victorian guest house situated in Central Buxton on Broad Walk. Our magnificent views include the Pavilion Gardens, The Octagon, The Opera House and The Crescent. We offer thoughtfully decorated en-suite rooms and an award winning breakfast in a quiet, central Buxton location within two minutes walk of the Pavilion, Opera House, the Buxton campus, restaurants, pubs and the town centre.

A stair lift to the first floor is available, and parking and breakfasts are included in your price. A stay in Buxton puts you in the heart of the Peak District with access to some of the finest historic houses, picturesque villages and walking in the Dales and Pennines.
Services
On the doorstep the Pavilion Gardens offer pleasant walks, the band on a Sunday and the miniature railway. The Pavilion and Octagon regularly host fairs, exhibitions, auctions and next door you will find the swimming pool. The Opera House is the centre of entertainment offering a full range of musical and non musical productions, and hosts the Buxton Festival in the Summer.
Our lounge reflects the Victorian heritage and is ideal for relaxing with friends, using the guides and literature to plan your visit or just watching the world go by. Grosvenor House is surrounded by some very good restaurants and pubs, both in town and in the Peak District. We are happy to advise you on your requirements.
We have EIGHT individually decorated en-suite rooms on two floors. All rooms have Freeview TV and DVD, WIFI access, complimentary beverage tray, fridges and a hair drier. The tariff is priced per room and includes breakfast and parking. A double room with en suite shower adapted for the less mobile and with views of the magnificent Crescent.
There is a 10% discount on selected shows at the Opera House when staying at the Grosvenor House. There are also discounted prices for entry to Chatsworth. In the unfortunate event of less than 48 hours cancellation of your booking we will make every effort to re-let the accommodation. However, we reserve the right to charge the full cost of the booking if the room is not subsequently re-let.

Brilliant location. Lovely b&b. Friendly
Service. Possibly the best fried breakfast we’ve ever had! But the top floor room was very cold. Took a day to heat up. Plus this place was slightly dearer than our friends’ b&bs on the same road, which were - by and large - exactly the same.

Amazing location, incredible service, reasonable prices and great food, we will definitely be going back. It's next to the Pavilion Gardens and right near the Crescent and Opera House. Lots of bars and restaurants nearby too, if you are planning to stay in Buxton, look no further. We hope to be going back next year when the Buxton Blues Festival is on
