First registered in business in 1989 we are a highly respected Welding Supplies business located in Preston, Lancashire. We retail products from our trade counter as well as distribute nationwide. We stock a wide range of welding machinery and consumables, cutting machinery and consumables and personal protective equipment.

YPH Ltd supply and manufacture specialised welding wires for many industries. We have had particular success in supplying high nickel content welding wires (MIG/TIG), Electrodes, and Flux cored wires to Petrochemical plant manufacturers worldwide. Our products have proved successful in the manufacture or maintenance of reformer tubes, with full traceability and test certification.

YPH Ltd are sole UK agents for Kistler Maschinen - und Anlagenbau GmbH. We supply the whole of the UK and Ireland with Kistlers extensive portfolio of CNC cutting and welding positioning machinery. Kistler was founded back in 1966 by senior engineer Roland Kistler. Nowadays, the company is run by his son, engineer Alexander Kistler which is based in Bad Saulgau, South Germany.

For over 50 years the name Bode has been synonymous in the design and manufacturing of rotating and positioning equipment for the welding industry. In 2001 a transaction was successfully completed by YPH Ltd of Preston and Kistler Maschinen und Anlagenbau GmbH of Germany, where both companies purchased assets including goodwill, designs, know how and trade names of F. Bode & Son Ltd, Leek.
