Our experienced and highly qualified staff are carefully selected through our safe recruitment process here at Starchild Nursery. All of our practitioners are DBS checked and thorough references are carried out to ensure the safety and well-being is paramount of the children within our care.

We are based in the heart of Malton, surrounded by beautiful landscapes, flourishing businesses and devoted childcare practitioners. What used to be an old building in need of a loving touch, has now been converted to form a modern day care nursery that provides everything a child could ever need with character and a unique twist!
We have a set menu which rotates over a 3 week period so that all children have the opportunity to explore the different meals we have available. Our menu has been designed with help of a nutritionist to ensure we are providing a healthy well balanced diet whilst they are within our care. Each meal is homemade on site in our very own kitchen and we source our food from the local fruit markets and convenience stores.
Our Baby Room has been designed and equipped to ensure our little ones are thoroughly entertained within their learning environment. The room is full of treasure baskets for children to explore freely as well as adult led activities throughout the day to support their development along the way! From low height storage units to encourage our cruisers.
Our Toddler Room is located next to the Baby Room, separated by a purpose built, lavender infused sleep room which both rooms share. The sleep room is equipped with coracle beds and mattresses for the children to lay their heads when they need a little rest after a busy morning or afternoon! Gently glowing fairy lights and soft classical music is heard playing around the room to help the little ones drift off into their well needed sleep.
