Mission Statement
Report
Little Stars Day Nursery aims to provide an exciting, fun, positive and safe learning environment, which caters for all children's individual needs. We aim for all children to be happy, confident, inquisitive, enquiring and eager learners in nursery as they start their educational journey. We aim to provide an environment in which all families and children feel accepted, valued and a sense of belonging.
Staff
Report
At Little Stars Day Nursery, all Early Years practitioners have a Level 3 Early Years qualification or above. All staff have an enhanced DBS clearance, Food Hygiene and First Aid Certificate. The staff work hard to encourage and extend the children's learning and development. The children are all assigned a key person when they start at Little Stars Day Nursery.
Our Facilities
Report
The room is divided into continuous areas of provision, including small world, construction, water, sand, creative area, ICT, mark making, role play and a story corner. Within the areas all the resources are located at a child's height to promote independence in selecting their own activities. The resources are chosen to promote the children's interests and learning and to create an environment they can explore and discover for themselves.
Eyfs
Report
The EYFS is for all Early Years providers to deliver for children from birth to five years old. In nursery we produce a Learning Journey file for every child. This is a record of their learning in the nursery, through observations, photographs and 'work'. This is shared and also added to by parents.
