Albery & Redstone Funeral Directors is an Independent Funeral business, that has been serving the community of Okehampton and surrounding villages, for Five generations, the business originally founded by the Counter family of South Zeal around 1850, this latterly passed from the maternal side of the family to Eric Redstone, succeeded by the late Keith Counter Redstone, who ran the business for many years, then latterly with his daughter-in-law Ali.
Meanwhile, David Albery a funeral director of many years in the local area had established the firm in Okehampton of Okehampton & District Funeral Service, it was at this time that we also incorporated Colin & Pat Bater into the business, who after many years of dedicated, professional service, decided to take things a little easier and enjoy their retirement.
