Amanda, Clinic director and Osteopath, takes pride in helping patients reduce their pain, helping them get back to activities and enjoying life. Please note that in order for you to attend clinic, you will have to undergo a pre-screening process. This is in the interest of your own health and safety, as well as that of your close contacts and all other clinic users.

The screening process will initially involve the completion of an online form sent out with your appointment confirmation email. There will be changes to your in clinic experience to ensure the highest level of hygiene for the health and safety of all clinic users. Along with hand sanitisation upon entry, you will also be required to wear a mask at all times whilst in the clinic - we can provide these for patients who don't have their own.
Services
Over the years, through word of mouth I have ended up treating many patients who have been written off as nothing that can be done and just given loads of pain relief to get by, these patients have changed their whole life to adapt to living with pain., you don't just have to put up with it!

The very least I can offer you is an understanding of your pain, some pain relief and improved movement, best case scenario is that I manage to get rid of your pain and you get your life back!Through additional training, I have now added a cranial approach to my suite of techniques to use. Over the years I've had numerous injuries myself, Neck, Back, Ankle, Shoulder, Elbow.
Osteopathy treats a wide variety of musculoskeletal problems, the main complaint being back pain, but it also has a role to play in the management of a number of other conditions. Joint pains including hip pain and knee pain from osteoarthritis as an adjunct to core OA treatments and exercise.

Arthritic pain - Treatment is individual, gently moving and stretching an arthritic joint and massaging surrounding muscles and tissues can help ease some of the discomfort.Sometimes we may work on general mobility of the other joints and muscles in the body to help the mechanics of the body work better.
These changes occur over a relatively short space of time, and the body has to continually adapt to accommodate these changes. Up to 10 kilograms in weight of baby, placenta and fluids may be carried, putting a fair amount of physical strain on the body. Many pregnant women find manual treatment very helpful throughout their pregnancy for pain reduction and preparation for labour.
What's the difference between Osteopaths, Manual Therapists, Chiropractors and Physiotherapists?. It's not the role of any health professional to try to define what another health care professional is, and what they do. If you want a definition, it would be best to ask people in those professions. What we can do is tell you about the defining characteristics of Osteopathy, which are its underlying philosophy and its broad range of techniques.

Went to Amanda as I had a knee problem. Recieved a very warm welcome and went into the treatment room where she went through my medical history before questioning me on the problems I was having.
She then started examining me and honed in immediately on the root cause. After around 40 minutes gentle work she had sorted it. No pain, not even discomfort during her treatment. I had mentioned a small issue with my upper spine so she sorted that as well!
I was amazed how easy it seemed for her to figure out the problem then sort it.
I cannot fault the whole experience. A nice clean treatment room

I have been seeing Amanda for knee pain and hip pain for the past few weeks. I found her very thorough in analysing my pain, and doing loads of tests and stuff to find out what had gone wrong. The treatment was excellent - she did lots of different things to make things easier, and gave really helpful advice, too. I highly recommend Amanda!

I went to visit Amanda recently for excruciating lower back pain. Not only did she sort the problem out in 2 visits, she also relieved my neck and shoulder pain which I thought I would just have to put up with forever. I cannot recommend Amanda highly enough. She is an excellent practitioner and a really lovely person who makes you feel at ease. Thank you so much for everything.
