Thank you for visting our website, please look around and enjoy Jigsaw, all our children do!. Jigsaw Curzon House Day Nursery has been open for over 20 years and provides the ultimate care and education for your little ones, offering full and part time places for children from 3 months to 11 years old.

The Nursery is situated in the grounds of the Holiday Inn Hotel on the Wrexham road and has a number of rooms, each having been designed to create an interesting and stimulating environment for young minds to explore and experiment. These are important formative years, from the moment of birth your child is assimilating information and experiences to create a "jigsaw" of data which will form your child's perception of his or her world.
Services
Our aim is to create a homely, caring but structured environment for children in our care whilst also providing a well managed and flexible service for the parents. We put the care of the children first and foremost and we achieve this by employing highly qualified, experienced, mature staff who provide a loving and stimulating environment.
At Jigsaw the staff team are dedicated to helping children enjoy and achieve, and every child is given an equal chance to accomplish goals and fulfill tasks and activities. All children are observed to enable staff to identify every child's individual needs. Through well planned activities based on each child's personal interests and development needs.
At Jigsaw we believe that 'you are what you eat.' All of our food is taken from different cultures from around the world using the very best fresh produce, our menu is nutritious, well balanced and completely plant based. The children benefit from a wide and varied menu that rotates on a 15 day rolling rota.
Amid the mini media storm that erupted around our announcement we were contacted by an organisation called Foodsteps who are a sustainable food consultancy based out of Cambridge University.

Impressed with the innovative approach Foodsteps had requested the opportunity to carry out a study relating to our changes offering both us and them the opportunity to truly understand the full environmental impact an organisation could achieve when migrating from a traditional mainstream menu to that with a fully plant based focus.
So we did it! Well done to all our children, staff and parents who supported us with this special project, we are very proud to hold this status. Fresh off the back of our 'Plastic Free Nurseries' status we are proud to announce that we have received the 'Food for Life' award for Early Years from the Soil Association.

I wish I lived closer to this nursery and had the opportunity to have my child attend, bringing my child up on a vegetarian diet I have been let down many times by her current nursery. It is refreshing knowing they have a plant based menu which is healthy and balanced.

So great to hear you are making all your menus vegan, such an admirable decision! I wish more nurseries would have the courage and sense to do the same. Keep up the good work!

I won't be sending my children somewhere that refuses to give them a healthy balanced diet. My child has medically necessary diet restrictions and I can't believe this place would change their menu so drastically without parental concent. Offering multiple diet options is understandable, abstaining from healthy diet... is not.

Sad to hear that children are forced highly processed vegan food flown across the globe, grown with pesticide overuse. Smarter choice would be to switch to only local. UK farming does so much to store the carbon in soil. Go for team human, reject processed, imported food.

Great to read this Nursery is moving to a more healthy, sustainable, sourced from less cruel conditions, environmentally favourable diet plan for it's kids. They're going to have even more energy :-o from this 'balanced' food type, including proteins, carbs, fats, nutrients and vitamins. Good work!

Superb decision to free the children from the indoctrinated animal abuse their parents want to protect. Ask the kids if they want Peppa on their plates!

Way to go there will be books one day called 'when we used to eat meat', loving the vision of this nursery and them considering the health of their children 👏👏👏
