Hoole Bank is a leading day nursery in Chester and sits on the edge of Hoole here in the beautiful walled city, just a short drive from all major road links including the M53 and M56. We offer all inclusive childcare for children aged 0 - 5 years old and we are open 7.30am - 6pm Monday to Friday, 51 weeks of the year.

Services
At Hoole Bank Day Nursery we pride ourselves in having a fantastic nursery team. Each member of staff has been carefully selected for their enthusiasm and passion for childcare. We believe it is essential that staff keep up to date with the curriculum and therefore staff attend regular, appropriate training courses to ensure that children at Hoole Bank are continuously receiving the best care possible.
With one member of staff for every three babies, they are given opportunities to learn whilst their individual needs are catered for. The baby room provides a secure, friendly environment with age appropriate equipment and activities. This room in particular plays an emphasis on providing a "home from home" feel to provide babies with the smoothest of transitions from home life to nursery.
Once your child is steady on their feet they will make the move to the Toddler room. Here we ensure that there is one adult for every three children under two and one adult for every four children between two to three years. The layout of the room encourages children to be independent and explore for themselves, children are given the opportunity to explore colours, shapes, counting and baking to mention just a few activities.
Our Pre-school room is for children aged 3 to 5 years old, this room focuses heavily on preparing children for when they grow up and go to 'big school!' The room is full of different activities and continuous provision such as small-world, construction, sand, water, role play and creative play. Pre-school children take part in regular phonic sessions to help children develop an understanding of letters and sounds.
At Hoole Bank Day Nursery we believe that outdoor play activities are crucial to your child's development. Consequently, children of all ages play outside everyday come rain or shine, of course we ask that each child is prepared for all weather. The wellies for those rainy days and the sun cream for the brighter days!

What an amazing team at Hoole Bank! After a sudden impromptu move from another nursery they took my son in the toddler room immediately and he settled easily. Their beliefs as a nursery are what any parent can dream of for their child. They have a lovely calm feel about the nursery and I feel so at ease leaving Jonathan there!! The team there are just so welcoming. Highly highly recommend!!

The most amazing nursery my son has ever attended. Since starting here at two years old he’s gone from strength to strength in his ability to communicate, be inquisitive about the world around him and has developed such confidence which has made him a very sociable little boy. All the staff are one of a kind giving such personalised care to each individual child providing stability within their lives. I can’t thank all the girls enough for all they have done for my son we are both very sad that it’s time to move on if only he could stay forever!!!

Thank you to ALL the staff for looking after our 2 little ones x they loved you all and miss you already . That graduation was so emotional but, the memories we have will last a life time ..If anyone is considering this nursery then We can 100% guarantee it. Caroline and Jess run a fantastic Staff that are kind, caring, thoughtful but, very professional. I never once seen an unhappy child including my own that couldn’t wait to get there.

Absolutely love it 😊 Both our children go there and have only good things to say. All the staff are really friendly and always tell you about your children’s day when it’s pick up time. They all know all the children not just the ones they look after and it’s got a really nice family atmosphere. Food great, activities great, play area great and can’t get the kids to leave when it’s home time! Regular parents evenings and information provided about how they are following the curriculum. Like I say literally nothing but good things 👍🏻
