My grandfather was a master craftsman in upholstery serving Edinburgh from the 1930's. As a youngster I enjoyed many school holidays as a junior apprentice, I was fascinated at the way he could take an old chair/sofa, restore and give new life to an item that only days before had looked certain to be heading for the bin.
I felt at home in the workshop environment, and knew then that upholstery was the only career path I'd like to follow. Unfortunately my grandfather died when I was in my mid teens, and I completed my 5 year apprenticeship in traditional upholstery before undertaking two years in contract soft furnishings.

I can't recommend Edinburgh Apholstery enough! I had a really terrible situation were my puppy chewed my clients sofa, as you can imagine I was horrified. Keith came and gave me a quote did the work and got the sofa back to its original state in no time at all, can't thank this man enough! He even took a money off the quote he had gave me because it didn't take him as long as he had thought. Not many companies would do this so I'd like to thank Keith once again for your amazing service and honesty.
