Judith was the perfect host of this beautiful b&b in an excellent location. Our room was extremely clean and comfortable as was the spacious lounge available for all guests where there was always some whiskey to help yourselves to. There was a wide choice for breakfast which was excellent. Judith went beyond the call of duty from meet and greet, knowledge on were to go, what to see and where to eat and in addition makes afternoon tea with homemade cakes, a pot of tea and even a generous measure of her latest whiskey all delivered to your room. She is the perfect hostess with the mostess who works

A wonderful place to stay and relax. Judith the owner was so attentive and nothing was too much trouble. She had a lot of knowledge of the local area and made great recommendations for food,and days out.
She also makes lovely homemade cakes and biscuits, and these are delivered daily to your room.
Breakfast was fab,and such a choice too.
Room and bathroom were spacious and very clean.
Would definitely recommend and return in the future!

Lovely building, amazing host who couldn't have given us a friendlier welcome or been more helpful. The rooms are big, comfortable and the general feel is cozy. There are a whole host of little luxuries and nice touches; luxury bedding, great amenities, fresh milk in the room, amazing breakfast etc. We had a fantastic stay and will book again.

It's a great place and I am sorry we stayed for only 1 night. Judith greeted us at the door with the pleasant conversation. Hot tea and sweets were served in the living room. We enjoyed the warm atmosphere, it was calm and quiet and very relaxing after a long day of sightseeing. Bed was comfy, we opened the windows and got lots of fresh air in our room. All areas were spotless. Breakfast was magnificent, way beyond our expectations.

Perfect stay. Room was spacious, comfortable and immaculately clean. Excellent host who gave great advice for things to do in the area that we wouldn't have found ourselves. Breakfast choice and standard was high. Wish I'd eaten less during the day because the baking awaiting us on return was top notch, but I could never eat it all :( We had the lightest lemon drizzle cake ever! Easy drive to castles and other points of interest. Nice walk to the nearby river and some good local eats. I would definitely stay here again and recommend it to others.
