This website aims to give you an insight into the life of the school, the excellent practice that is part of the daily life as well as providing parents and pupils with regular, updated information. In Edenderry we pride ourselves in providing a supportive and caring environment where every child is given the opportunity to succeed and develop.

We have committed and enthusiastic staff and Governors who work in partnership with very supportive parents, all of whom put the interests of our children first. We have high expectations for ourselves and our pupils and a determination that every child will fulfil his or her full potential. The school is continually responding and changing to offer the highest quality of education for our children.
Services
Please find some useful links from CPSS (Child Protection and Support Services) which we would like to share with you at this time. The first is online resources produced by CAMHS and the second is from the PHA and contains a variety of helpline support services. At this difficult time we sometimes need a little support and sound advice to help us to deal with situations which arise.
The curriculum is seen as being a common curriculum for all the pupils of Edenderry Primary School and no pupil will be debarred from any part of it on the grounds of gender. Every effort will be made to provide maximum access to the curriculum to children who are physically handicapped and the school accepts its responsibility to attempt to develop the full potential of such children.
A small steering committee headed by Tasja, Eva and Matthew are beginning the process of application to the UN for the above award. You have to put your bags through the x-ray machine and then walk through a metal detector. We were all given security passes. Moslem, Leon and Shahina were visiting a number of schools in Banbridge as part of our ongoing Global Schools Partnership between Banbridge and Bangladesh.
Leaders from the Confucius Institute of China visited Edenderry to promote friendship and links via the Chinese Bridge programme with the assistance of the British Council. Students loved the chance to get real hands on experience with calligraphy, dance, games, traditional costume and masks, fans and making bracelets.
