We stock school shoes all year round. Sizes start at 25 and go up to 43. All other fitted shoes start at size 17 and go to size 39. Our commitment is to stock the best quality brands and styles. And with our professional fitting service you can rest assured that your childrens' feet will be well cared for as they progress through their school years.

We were looking through window sunday 12th sept and I spotted some dungarees for my granddaughter..we went to go in and was told very rudely to put a mask on ...which we proceeded to do ..I was then told to leave my small dog on the step...there wasnt anyone else in the shop at the time ...all Kirkby lonsdale shops are amazingly welcoming to dogs but this one wasnt ..lost a sale... the shop assistant wasnt wearing a mask either !!!

Hoping it was just a bad day, but before we'd set even foot in the shop, the owner asked if we intended to buy shoes! I absolutely would have done had we found something lovely and right but unfortunately we didn't - little one was having an 'off' day and the shoes recommended to us were lace-up, which she can't manage just yet (her shoes are on… and off like yo-yos and she's at that independent stage where she wants to dress herself). The fitting experience was good, with care taken, but I absolutely felt under pressure to buy. I was a genuine customer, but there simply wasn't anything

I bought some school shoes in september for my daughter costing over 50 pounds and the sole has come off one of the shoes and they are not going to replace as they said she has had 6 months of wear out if them and they are not going to replace them. The lady in the shop has glued them and said see how they go and she would give me 20% off a new pair mmmmm not that happy.

What a fantastic experience we had today at Little walkers. Alex couldn’t have been more helpful in finding my daughter some shoes. We’ve struggled in the past as her feet are so narrow but here we had a vast choice of shoes and came away with a lovely pair and we couldn’t resist a pair of Bogs wellies too (which my daughter only took off today to go to bed 😂). Thanks and we will definitely be back and recommend you to others.

We love supporting small businesses but unfortunately the customer service was awful, an unnecessarily unpleasant and unwelcoming experience for parents and our 2yo child. Despite being the only family in the store we were made to feel like a real inconvenience, extremely perplexing. A real shame as we could have given this store years of repeat custom :(
