Kitty Brown is an independent fashion boutique, situated at 2 Ashtrees Way in the Lancashire town of Carnforth. Founded in 2008 by Caroline Charnley and Jenny Wheeler, they wanted to champion sustainable and affordable fashion for women, that would be worn again and again. Caroline and her small team continue to select clothing, footwear and accessories from well known and lesser known brands.

Kitty's Home Report

Carnforth is a town with a population of around 5,500 people a few miles to the north of Lancaster. There are a number of events that take place each year which attract locals and visitors alike. With interesting independent shops, cafes, pubs and hotels, the Brief Encounter Visitor Centre, there is much to do and see as well as Kitty Brown!

I ordered a pair of boots on 1st January 2022 and they were hand delivered by the owner on 3rd January. Amazing as I live quite a distance away. The boots were perfect. I have been looking for these particular boots for a while but this was the cheapest I have seen them. I have never visited the shop but intend to when I am in the area. Wonderful service.

Wow,such great service from Kitty Brown. I ordered form the website on Saturday, was going to go and collect, but received an email this morning saying they would deliver, as no one in the Shop. What a beautiful shop! Today was my first visit to Kitty Brown Boutique and will definitely be going back. It was a lovely shopping experience, the choice is very well put together and I received some great customer service for a young lady staff member. 👍

I’ve had such a lovely experience shopping at KB not only have I purchased my perfect pair of shoes (they were even named after me!! 😊) but they were hand delivered and embarrassingly exchanged when I needed a different size! I just love Kitty Brown’s. How many Independent clothing and shoe shops do we have? Hardly any. And in fact none at all at the moment. The staff are always polite and attentive and it’s nice to stand in the glow of Caroline’s lovely smile.
