The body is incredibly adaptive and we see amazing changes even in people who haven't moved their bodies for a long time. We are all stronger than we think we are! But really, yoga is about going inwards, letting go of the monkey-mind and enjoying what our can bodies can do right now. And as we become fitter and more flexible on the mat as well as in the mind, this new found agility and poise begins to seep into regular life too.

Love going to Barefoot in Harborne-it has been a beacon of hope in the pandemic. I usually go to 3 classes a week with different teachers as it always feels good to do different styles of yoga. It is also reassuring that a number of classes are on zoom as well as in the studio which helps if you feel less confident returning to usual activities. The studio space is lovely and does not feel too crowded. Staff are friendly and usually offer options in postures so that it is your practise.

Classes here are excellent. Both Jon and Dave are exceptional teachers. The hybrid system with classes has worked well. Great loss to Kings Health.
One piece of feedback following an in-person visit would be for the front of house staff to keep an eye on the congregating around the storage areas at the end of class.
There's a one way system in place and a nice car park behind and I observed a lot of chatting and crowding and poor social distancing around these areas which felt a bit unsafe as I am classed as a vulnerable person. What would be really great would be for through-put to be encouraged

Positive: Professionalism, Quality
We are a group of junior doctors who booked a private yoga session with Tania. The location was perfect + the class was excellent. Tania was super friendly and accommodating for a diverse group of people (some of which had never done yoga before!). Would really recommend!

I started classes at Barefoot a year ago on a really great welcome offer. I was new to yoga and enjoyed having a range of classes to try out. The studio lets in lots of light - it has a really airy, spacious feel, even when every mat is taken. Mats, blocks and belts are all provided, you just need to bring yourself. Everyone at Barefoot is really helpful and friendly. There is bike parking outside, clean changing rooms and showers plus helpful touches including a hairdryer. I really love the classes I go to, as well as occasional longer workshop sessions on a weekend. Highly recommend.
