Busy Bees Preschool Chapmanslade
Busy Bees Pre-school is a "none profit" charitable trust located in the grounds of Chapmanslade Church of England Primary School in Chapmanslade, Wiltshire. We work closely with Chapmanslade Primary School so that we can support our Busy Bees with their transition to the primary school of their choice.

Many of our children choose Chapmanslade School (although acceptance at the school is not guaranteed) and this helps our leavers settle in easily as they are familiar with the setting and facilities. Busy Bees is registered for 20 children from the age of 2 years until school age and is open from 0800 - 17.00 Monday to Friday, TERM TIME ONLY.
Services
Busy Bees Pre-school is managed by a Committee of volunteers elected at an Annual General Meeting to which all parents and staff are invited. Our "not for profit" status means that we are able to reinvest any surplus funds in the setting whether for new toys, books and equipment or improving the facilities.
Busy Bees operates an equal opportunities admission policy which is reflected in all our documentation and adverts. The pre-school is open to children from all sections of local communities and can provide flexible patterns of attendance to support the differing needs of families and their children.
Busy Bees Pre-school offers parents of children attending Chapmanslade School a Breakfast Club and Afterschool Club. The Breakfast Club starts at 08.00 until school registration when children are escorted from Busy Bees to the school. They are provided with toast and cereal and milk or water to drink.
Our fees are 4.15 per hour. For children attending the Breakfast Club the fee is 3.50 per session (08.00 - 8.40) and the Afterschool Club 7.00 per session ( 15.10 - 17.00) or 4.00 per hour. Late collection fees, where prior notice has not been given, are 5.00 for the first 15 minutes followed by 1.50 for every 15 minutes.
We know that children respond differently to new environments so we will invite both you and your child to come along to Busy Bees in the term before they are due to start. This gives the child an opportunity to familiarize themselves with the setting, staff and other children. Parents are also welcome to stay with their child for as long as they wish during the first few sessions.
