At the Sheldon's Family Bakery, we've been baking our tasty bread for your family since 1949. Family is at the heart of everything we do at Sheldon's. Sheldon's have been supporting our local Trafford Veterans group with regular donations of our lovely products. Sheldon's are super proud. From modest beginnings we have grown into one of the leading independent, family owned bakers in the country. Since Harold Sheldon first set off in his van to supply delicious baked goods and confectionery across the North West, we've come a long way.

Services
Every one of Sheldon's mouthwatering bread muffins, baps, rolls and teacakes is made to a generations-old recipe. You can taste the love baked in to every one. We started our Family Bakery in 1949, building from modest beginnings to become one of the nations best loved independent family bakeries. From our family to yours, baking history since 1949.
Sheldon's was started by the Master Baker Harold Sheldon. As it grew and became successful, his son Graham Sheldon took over the reins and built the business to greater heights. Nowadays, Graham is still behind his desk, but his son and daughter, Lee Sheldon and Sarah Sheldon, have joined him to help run the business and it continues to go from strength to strength.
Due to the ever increasing demand for our products, our stockists are constantly widening the area of availability so we aren't able to show accurate, up to date stockist information. We started our Family Bakery in 1949, building from modest beginnings to become one of the nations best loved independent family bakeries.

Employer doesn't appreciate or respect any of workers or their job. Hard job in a long shift for a minimum wage even on night shift. No sick pay, no extra pay for bank holidays, weekends or overtime. You are working 10 days or 10 years in this company and you still have the same minimum wage. Unless you are applying for it several times (mostly with no luck). Very bad management (both - production and cleaning). No consequences for people who are showing antisocial behaviour. No security, anybody from the Street can walk inside the bakery. I went to this company to start working here i put a uniform on to start but i waited for over a hour to sign in 2 supervises told me to wait to go on the production line i waited and waited but no clue wat there we doing went pass me a few times for any people to start at this company dont even bother

What a breath of fresh air to deal with such a pleasant, friendly and generous company. I only had to deliver three cabins there, but the welcome I was given was amazing and to top it all , when I left site I was given a goody bag absolutely full of their really taste products. They truly went above.and beyond. Thank you guys !

Horrible place to work, worse place I've ever worked, toilets are disgusting, they drop the bread on the floor and still repack it. I mentioned this and got in trouble for throwing it in the bin when it fell on the floor. They took it back out the bin and repackaged it! No interaction what so ever! Never see supervisors or the manager! Slave work

I worked here last week as an Agency placement. Nearly ran over by a forklift on my first day!!!
-No hygiene standard.
-Toilets were disgusting.
-I only got two 15 minutes breaks, then I was sant home, as no longer needed at 2am with no way of getting home. I had to walk.

Nearly run off the road by one of their delivery drivers on the M6, heading south near Birmingham. I was obeying the speed limit of 50 and this cretin was tailgating me and flashing his lights,expecting me to get out of
his way . Saw him speeding earlier doing 60+ in the 50 limit , he must have stopped and then caught up with me. Criminal behaviour just to deliver some bread.

This factory should be reported.. half of the staff dont have the right to work, working conditions are just as bad as in back in the slavery, the management are the most arrogant, racist and discriminatory humans I have ever came across their toilets are unexplainable..... staff are treated with not a single bit of Respect .... this place needs to be shut down.... for the sake of the consumers health and mainly the ones that have no other option but to tolerate this non sense place to feed their families both here and abroad

If I could do less than one star I would, I've been trying to get a response since May after I found blue plastic in the rolls I purchased. Customer service is awful and keep getting fobbed off.I have emailed them 6 times and spoken to them twice and both times was told they would call back but still no correspondence.

Very disappointed with your customer service. Emailed you as requested, re mouldy bread rolls, no acknowledgement. Emailed again to ask for acknowledgement that the first email had been received, again no response.this was the first time I had purchased any of your products and at this rate, will be the last! Both packs of 12 rolls had mould on them. Extremely disappointed.
