Chris & John have recently taken over the pub and are making a lot of changes. A huge new selection of beers and ciders along with home cooked food lunch times and evenings and of course traditional Sunday roasts. Music and live performances are to be a big thing for the boys and they have lots of events planned.

Wow just wow, we stumbled across this pub after climbing Gold Hill. The roast that they provide is absolutely amazing and huge definitely the best Roast I’ve ever had ( bar my mums incase she reads this). The staff are amazing and really make your visit a great experience, we will definitely be back soon.

I'm not usually one for reviews, but I would just like to commend all the great friendly staff and everyone at Ye Olde Two Brewers. We've been staying locally on holiday for the week and we popped in briefly last Sunday for a pint and the staff couldn't have been more welcoming, we sat outside in the garden with our dogs, (Although we were told we would be more than welcome to sit inside with them), the views were beautiful. Unfortunately we were too late for food, but vowed to return during the week to try, (which we did twice!). Couldn't fault the food, it was proper lovely freshly cooked pub

Went to the Steak Night at the Ye Olde Two Brewers and the atmosphere was amazing Coner Smith was playing a live music set, the Food was outstanding, the customer service was amazing very polite and very welcoming, would like to thank Chris and John for a amazing night will definitely be coming back

My partner and myself went for food at The Olde Two Brewers and it was out standing with amazing customer service, the staff at The Olde Two Brewers are so police and pleasant it was so nice, they have a great selection of Spirits, Ciders and Larger. They put on some great entertainment as well, thank you to all the staff at The Olde Two Brewers, will be back again soon.

We had our baby shower at the skittles alley function room and the service couldn't have been better. From booking weeks before to on the day, the communication was great, they were super accommodating and the food was great. Everyone really enjoyed themselves and we we would definitely recommend for all events and parties

Lovely open area with a view in the back. Friendly, welcoming staff. We're from the States on a walking tour and had a couple pints. The pea soup with the cheese scones was a meal in itself. We indulged in the bangers and mash and roasted chicken. The coleslaw and smoked beans were delicious. I recommend stopping here!

The pub was very busy with live music. Had a good time but I spent more than half the time we were there in a queue to the bar as it was too much for the guys taking orders outside. At some point I queued for over 20min for a pint then had to get one of the guys outside to order my food. (why couldn't I order everything at once is beyond me) The system and the app needs to be looked at. Luckily the food was good.

Booked on the phone and was assured food was served so long as it was ordered before 8:30pm. We booked and arrived at 8 and all mentions of food ordering were palmed off and ignored and we heard from someone working there from a distance that they wanted to pause food. They didn't give us any direct answers about ordering food despite numerous asking until gone 8:30pm and then they shut us down. Poor communication. Poor slow service

Roast dinner was amazing, service was great especially considering we were seated outside due to covid restrictions and the staff has to keep coming out in the pouring rain. Pub well prepared for the restriction and customers able to enjoy their time out in relaxed atmosphere despite the 'new normal'

The Two Brewers has had its ups and downs over the years, but it is potentially a great pub in a fantastic location at the bottom of Gold Hill and with views over the beautiful Blackmore Vale. All it needs is a top-notch Landlord/lady...
...which it now has in the form of Sally and Andy. They have a background in the hospitality sector, and it shows. Their primary objective is a warm welcome, which they certainly deliver.
They have knocked the interior of the pub into shape, and it now offers a cosy atmosphere for quaffing the excellent real ales (Landlord, Doom Bar, Otter, etc.), local ciders

This pub accommodated 23 of us for a late Sunday lunch after we contacted them in advance. They normally stopped serving food at 3 but the chef arranged to stay on to serve us at 3. Lunch was £9.50 which was a little expensive. Nice gravy served separately but they had run out of apple sauce! (There is a supermarket not far away) The vegetables were a bit sparse too. It had nice views and a good room at the back which seated us all very well.
