The Sussex Osteopaths
We are pleased to let our patients know that in light of the government announcement of a second national lockdown, our clinic can remain OPEN. This is in line with advice from the department of health and guidance from our governing body & insurers. At the Sussex Osteopaths, we tailor your treatment to suit you and your specific needs.

Osteopathy is suitable for people of all ages and walks of life. If you have any questions regarding how osteopathy could help you, please don't hesitate to contact us. We are a team of qualified, professional osteopaths. We provide integrated care and pain relief via a variety of proven disciplines, covering a large number of both everyday and more complex conditions.
Services
Callum and Sophie both graduated with Masters Degrees from The British School of Osteopathy (now known as the University College of Osteopathy) in London. They are also qualified in Sports Massage Therapy and Medical Acupuncture. They are both insured by, and members of, the Institute of Osteopathy and registered with the General Osteopathic Council.
At Sussex Osteopaths we're a friendly, warm and honest bunch who genuinely gives 100 per cent to all our clients. Our advice is from a professional source as are our treatment options. All of our osteopaths and physiotherapists are professionals and dedicated to their careers. We don't 'beat about the bush' when it comes to recovery times and recommending treatment regimes.
Osteopathy is a form of hands-on manual therapy which complements mainstream modern medicine. It is patient centred, meaning that we focus on you. We take a detailed medical history from you in order to gain a comprehensive insight as to why you are suffering with your symptoms. Osteopathy is a gentle, yet effective way of identifying and treating imbalances and restrictions in the body.
At The Sussex Osteopaths we practice a form of Acupuncture called Medical Acupuncture, which is an adaptation of the more traditional, Chinese Acupuncture. So whilst many of the needling points correlate to the traditional meridians, they are predominately located using up-to-date anatomical knowledge, advanced palpation and trigger points.
Your initial consultation will last up to one hour. In this time, your osteopath will ask you questions regarding your symptoms, diet, general health and activities and lifestyle. This complete medical history will allow our osteopaths to better understand the pain and problems you have been experiencing as well as how the area was injured, what aggravates it and what you do to ease the pain.

Sophie and Callum are superb professionals who have solved two separate issues that I have had. They are reassuring and have a great rapport with their clients. I felt very comfortable whilst working with them and they have been a life saver in terms of relieving any pain that I was experiencing. With a clean studio too. I would highly recommend them to anyone! Thank you!

Honestly can't thank Callum enough! I was in agony with my rib and he managed to fit me in very swiftly. I was given a lot of useful information over the phone before my appointment which was a great help. He is super professional with good communications skills throughout the entire appointment. And really has a lot of knowledge in what he does. Safety is taken seriously with full PPE worn. All round a great experience and now I'm pain free!!! Highly reccomend 10/10.

Since I was 18 years old I’ve suffered with headaches and over the years tried everything to eliminate them or find some form of relief. Then one day in the grip of another agonising headache I contacted The Sussex Osteopaths. After explaining all this I had my first treatment. Since then I’ve visited regularly and I’m happy to say I’m so much better. The one different thing these guys did that no other had tried was to encourage better lymphatic drainage! So if you are in pain or in some form of discomfort please give Callum or Sophie a call I can’t recommend them highly enough.

I thought I was done for after overdoing it and with only a month to go before Athens Beach Head marathon. Luckily after a friend suggested I see them, I am pain free AND can carry on running with advice on injury prevention. Thankfully They also don't mind doing me talking too much either and are patient and listen!! Thanks guys!
